Dear One Seed Community,
When I closed ONE SEED, I truly believed it was the end. I didn’t anticipate reopening. There was no pause-and-relaunch plan — no strategy behind it.
The traditional business model had stopped aligning with my values. Rather than dilute the vision or compromise my principles, I chose to close.
Over time, closure created clarity. And your love for ONE SEED continued. It became clear we had built something enduring and meaningful — not because of scale, but because of what it stands for.
I knew that If ONE SEED were to return, it had to be different. Fully aligned. Protected in its creativity, its longevity, and my own wellbeing.
As I contemplated what was next, What became obvious is that ONE SEED deserves a new system. One that values restraint over volume, intention over scale, and longevity over momentum.
So we built one.
We now release just twice per year, in small batches guided by our community waitlist. When sold out, we close again. We produce what is wanted — nothing more.
This model ensures ONE SEED exists sustainably — creatively and commercially — for the long term. It protects quality, reduces waste, discourages overconsumption, and allows me, as founder, to work in a way that prioritises rest and genuine connection.
The foundation is stronger.
The model is smarter.
The vision is sharper.
This is a model designed for longevity — not hype.
The world doesn’t need more product. It doesn’t need more noise. It needs more intention. It needs courage.
ONE SEED was never created to follow industry norms — and we’re not going to start now.
Thank you for being part of what comes next.
Liz
